Interruptions
I just signed out due to interruption though there's not much wk. Office timings r from 9am to 2.30pm and there after nothing but next day morning. So what one do? go for a walk and get in to office for surfing the net, check mail and prepare few drafts to keep the clarks occupied next day, but this harmony in life often gets interrupted here 4 2 reasons:-
- 1 - train every 15 -20 mins with divers having no traffic sense whats so ever and draw pleasure in blowing horn never lasting less than 55 secs to be precise. I really wonder is it because of their "horn happiness", like the people in uniform calls it "trigger happy"?? or out of the drivers sheer concern 4 safety of there counterparts who despite the gate being closed continue to cross the track not alone but with wife, kid(s) n a goat rather a few of them accompanying a few being pushed ahead n balance being pulled. 4 the second option to be true more often, my respect 4 the community of the train drivers only grows more n they ride higher on the scale of professions to be respected. Drivers only 2 of them in that monstrous machine scaling miles alone across the country, either make so many of their fellow beings reach their destination or carry the loads of rich Iron or manganese ore (goods) to various destinations bringing affluence to select with what’s so ever no benefit to them.
- 2. - n more treacherous cause are the creatures we often come across in our wkg life - yes most of u must have guessed it right a co-worker who not only enjoys not doing own work but also enjoys more, putting spokes (if one can call it so with due apologies to such beings) or creating hurdles for others in not letting them do their job.
so it was the second reason I had to sign off half way in the previous mail n now the chain of thoughts once broken one couldn't resist but narrate the incident just to share the thoughts or may be keep the readers occupied .... Out here am blessed to have one of the other variety. To put it squarely the man is so reluctant to work or do anything but make not a few but all calls in a day 4 personal benefit that - even if one lights a fife right under his Ass will not make him move 4 no other reason but save himself but, will only look at others n ask "are ab kya karun". Any way it's always more challenging to work against odds, as an old saying - performance is always better when chips are down or "as the going gets tough, the tough gets going" (pl for god's sake! do not mistake it to be an opportunity of self glorification - that's the last thing ones looking 4).
There r many more such interruptions n have a few more in mind the ones which look more challanging shall add! suggestions welcome!!
